Day 5 at La Verendrye. The water was far too mild for chilling properly and this was drunk tepid. Looks somewhat golden in the plastic cup. Federweißer aroma with melon sweet undertones. Tart throughout. Medium. Moderate. Crisp. Pleasant. Drunk colder this could be refreshing.

Pale gold with a mild haze. Herbal aroma promises rosemary, spruce and dankness. Taste has a very mild lime bitterness. Faint lingering herbal flavors. A bit watery. Harmless but drinkable.

Black with a creamy, beige head. Coffee aroma. Faint prune. Taste is roasted bitter with toffee sweetness underneath. Light side of medium. Mild. Good sipper.

Gold to orange. Thin, frothy head.Very herbal aroma. Sage. Rosemary. Pine needles. Taste is very mildly bitter. Like the beers sampled, a bit watery, flaccid. Lingering pine needles. Interesting.

Gold with a creamy, white head. Lime aroma. Very mildly bitter. Flaccid, a bit watery. Not much backbone, not a lot going on but drinkable. Refreshing.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Floral aroma. Touch of tangerine. Bitter. Mildly citric. Gentle. Mild bitter finish with a touch of water over the tongue. Drinkable.

Deep gold with a creamy, white head. Forest floor aroma. Taste is herbal bitter with a lingering, rosemary-bitter finish. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Survived a weeks trip through La Verendrye and consumed on the eve of the Air Canada strike.

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light pine needles, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with resinous hops, light cereals, pleasant pine, OK. On tap at Le Fermentor Prost Fest.
