Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a thick bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of peaches - a bit artificial. The flavor is sweet with a cloying peach note on a watery straw and malt background. A really poor flavor, like somebody lost a lot of hay in the fermenting vessel.

Draught. Weak black malt aroma. Almost black colour, small tight light brown head. Good bready roastedness in the flavour. Less bitter than Guinness, with some rye breadiness. Smooth mouthfeel.

Bottled, 75cl champagne cork. A clear, golden-orange beer with a white head. Caramel and sugar in the aroma and flavor. Some fruityness too. Sweet, medium mouthfeel, and a sweet and malty finish. Not bad, just a bit one-dimentional. (061229)
