(Bottle, #20305) Dark brown colour, almost black, with brief beige head. Malty, spicy nose with caramel, herbs, dried fruit, dark bread, oak wood, red wine and a touch of mint. Malty, spicy taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, prunes, oak wood, red wine, red fruit, mint, yeast and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. A gentle tannic acidity from the wine barrels. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Interesting, really tasty, with the Bordeaux barrel character giving it an additional edge. Very nice.
