750ml bottle. Dark brown almost black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, licorice, caramel. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Babette, Naples. Pours hazy dull dark golden with am off white head. Aroma of yeast, gone off milk, yoghurt, oak and some fruits. Weird. Flavor is light sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with high carbonation.

From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and light citrusy. Mellow fruity, vague bretty. Bitter and dry fruity. Smooth fruity and light peachy finish.

10/04/2014 Bir&Fud Bottega (375ml bottle). Bruna con riflessi rubino, intensa, lievemente torbida, schiuma virtualmente assente. Al naso sentori vinosi, note di frutta rossa, alcol, malto, legno, non male. In bocca è dolciastra all’attacco, quindi leggermente acidula, vinosa, delicata, le manca solo un po’ di complesità e profondità. Corpo medio, piatta. Non male.

10/11/2013 La Tana (handpump). Nera, impenetrabile, schiuma cappuccino abbondante e molto persistente. Al naso sentori di lattosio, cappuccino, cioccolata, leggera nota affumicata, ottima! In bocca scivola giù che è una bellezza, elegante e ben equilibrata, dolciastra con finale amarognolo, cioccolatosa e caffettosa. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione soft. Gran bella porter!

[10/18/13] Cask at Open Baladin in Rome. Black-colored with some tan foam. Great smoky and roasty aroma, a bit meaty, with some coffee. Nice sweetish smoky and roasty flavor with some coffee, sausages, light chocolate notes and a drier finish with a bitter note. Medium-bodied. Very good.

[10/17/13] Draught at Open Baladin in Rome. Hazy golden with a white head. Yeasty aroma with fruity esters, light grassy hops and light spicy notes. Sweetish and fruity flavor with light spicy hints and a mildly bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied. Pretty easy-drinking, but too yeasty and fruity for the style.
