June 5th 2010. Silver foil bottle. Cloudy amber beer. Light frothy head. Dry palate. Those lovely Nelson hops again. Obviously the same beer as the draft special edition but this loses a couple of points for being less fresh and a little drier.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt as well as lighter notes of citrus, peaches, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, cardboard, citrus, peach, and yeast, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish. The carbonation prickles the tongue.

Opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy, fairly dry and has decent carbonation. Some creamy sweet malts, trace of dark chocolate. Tangy red wine into caramel and toffee. Light dry finish. Hangs together well.
