getrunken im Oktober 2017 unter dem Namen "Hostan světlý" Die Brauerei Hostan in Znojmo (dt. Znaim) an der österreichischen Grenze wurde 2009 angeblich aufgrund der schlechten Verkehranbindung mitten durch das historische Zentrum aufgegeben. Der Name wurde behalten und das Bier wird in Brno gebraut. Ich habe das Bier das erste Mal vor 4 Jahren getrunken und jetzt im Jahre 2017 sehe ich, dass auf der Flasche als Herkunft die Brauerei Krušovice genannt wird, die ebenfalls dem Heineken-Konzern gehört. Das Bier ist ein typisches Helles, wobei es viele bessere gibt. Ich würde bei einem direkten Vergleich auf jeden Fall das helle Starobrno vorziehen.

gibt es noch unter dem Namen Hostan světlé výčepní pivo, gebraut vom Heineken-Konzern bei Starobrno. Ich habe dieses Bier im Bahnhofsresti in Znaim/Znojmo gekauft und im Zug Richtung WIen getrunken. Es ist ein einfaches Schankbier, das nicht wirklich überzeugt. Es hat einen brauchbaren Körper, aber auch einen unangenehmen süßlichen Nachhall hatte. Es wäre nicht schade darum.

Bouteille 500ml, courtoisie de Jean-Marc G. De couleur dorée et transparente. Nez de houblon herbeux (foin et gazon mouillé), malté de grains pâles et léger et légèrement mielleux ainsi que des notes métalliques et de petites traces de levures fruitées sûres (framboises). Plutôt mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen mais croustillant et une texture légèrement crémeuse et aux petites notes aqueuses. Goût de grains de malt pâle croustillants avec des notes métalliques et de levures fruitées (très faibles traces de framboises) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un léger goût malté herbeux et légèrement sucré (traces de miel) parallèlement à un goût moyennement amer et asséchant de houblon herbeux (foin et gazon) aux petites notes terreuses jusqu’en finale où l’on assiste à un regain de notes métalliques. Post-goût moyen et un peu sec, moyennement amer de houblon herbeux avec de faibles notes métalliques.

Bottled(500ml). -nice and refreshing brew but in this beer is very expressed lack of alcohol, hoppy and crisp, mild bitterness, nice hop aftertaste, easy drinkable beer

Golden-bronze colour. Slightly metallic hop aroma is a little bit on the light side for a Boh Pils. Body is moderately full, with some slightly caramelly notes. Towards the end, you get a hit of earthy Saaz. Not especially bitter, and the finish is disappointingly neutral. Fairly restrained example of the style.

Nice dark red colour, a thickly earthy, sweet malt attack on the nose, a full body and a spritziness in the body that carries the dark malt palate.
