500ml bottle from Alko in Hetta, Finland. Clear palisander body. Plum, prune, roasted chestnuts, with hint of cherry, bread, vanilla and licorice in both aroma and taste. Balanced and pleasant! (Shared 22,.Aug.2011)

Ett välbalanserat mörkt lageröl utan påträngande sötma. Smak och doft av nötter , mörk choklad med aning av röda bär och rostade toner.

reddish-brown colour, medium off-white head; aroma of fruits and bread; taste is dominated by malty sweetness with fruitty notes (maybe some alcohol, too) and some slight bitter aftertaste.

first of all: IT IS RIDICULOUS TO CALL IT AS ’BOHEMIAN PILSENER’!!! Shame on the manufacturer! regarding the rating: pale golden colour; very minimal white head; aroma of nothing (maybe some cardboard); taste is not a typical bohemian pilsener with some very strange cider-like sourness. HORRIBLE PILSENER, STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED (and I’m very angry because it was more than 3 times more expensive than a Pilsnser Urquel); it was very disappointing in the light of that it is a czech beer

Bottle @ NK Saluhall. Golden colour with a white head. Weak metallic aroma. Flavour is a bit funky, weak, malty. Not a very good beer.

Aroma has yeasty notes, some bubblegum and banana. Flavour is also rather yeasty with banana, bubblegum, some wheat and distant cardboard notes. Good.

Deep black body with a lightly brown creamy head. Nose of strong malts, molasses, coffee. Moderately bitter, moderately sweet flavour. Well balanced, nice mouthfeel. Complete beer.

50cl Bottle at Volume10, Athens, Greece, as Tmave Specialni Pivo. Clear dark reddish brown to black colour, light beige head. Aroma of light roast, burnt caramel, toffee. Flavour is light roasted, chocolate, toffee, light roasted bitter coffee finish. Light bodied, light flavoured. OK dunkel/schwarz.
