Description
Founded by Oliver Hughes & Liam Lahart, the Porterhouse Brew Co. are Ireland's pioneers of craft beer. Opening Ireland's first brewpub in the heart of Dublin, Temple Bar. Nowadays with a chain of successful bars in Dublin, London and New York the company is now producing from a state of the art brewery located in Glasnevin, Dublin. The expansion to the 120 barrel brewing facility in 2017 helps service our own bars but provides quality beer outside of the bars to consumers throughout Ireland while exporting to over 20 markets globally. The Porterhouse Brew Co. is proud to be a fully run independent brewery with a focus on consistency, quality and innovation.

330ml Bottle (Porterhouse, Covent Garden) - Golden with a foamy head. Pine, grapefruit and pineapple feature in the aroma. Hoppy and bitter taste with tangy grapefruit and a long, bitter and hoppy finish.

Black with a red hue. Tan nitro head. Aroma of molasses, chocolate and licorice. Sweetish licorice dominated flavour, with even a hint of anise.

tap at charlies. very dark brown, very smooth creamy light brown or offwhite head. aroma is dusty, faint coffee, licorice, roasted grains, malts. flavor is sweet, malty, brown sugar, faint sweet caramel, licorice. a little sweetish but yet dry.

@ Charlies. Pours dark nearly black with a red hew and a lovely thick creamy white head and lacings. Caramel, spices and a vague roasted note. Medium and smooth palate. Good.
