Draught @ L'imbeertinence, Bethune. Pours pitch black, small tan head. Nicely rich stout, mild oat influence in the body, some treacle and liquorice notes mingling well. Decent.

On tap at Hopi Lille. Black coloured, medium sized brownish head, light roasty and chocolate nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, notes of licorice and touch of alcohol with dry and mild roasty finish.

Black with a medium beige head. Body is a bit thin but still in teh medium realm. Roasted malts, sweet licorice, a bit of burnt malts, some background dark fruits. Finish is medium dry with some bitterness. Decent.

flavor is coffee like notes, coffee syrup, more coffee - roasted, roasted malts, caramelly maple syrup. this beer has a TON of coffee and a lot of maple syrup like, caramelly like notes. also some roasted malts, but far more of the other stuff. also a booze like note similar to bourbon, but probably not bourbon. Not sure I can place it. There is also chocolate.
