Bottled. Amber coloured with rich, creamy head. Light bobied, malt sweet and clean with rather low bitterness. A plain, very drinkable ale.

James Squire Stow Away IPA from Malt Shovel Brewery

Bottled. Amber colour. Flowery hop aroma. Malty, sweet an dvery hoppy. Very bitter, resiny finish. A great and authentic IPA, and also the most well hopped beer I can remember to have sampled fromthe southern hemisphere.

Bottled. Yellow color, hazy, not much head. Strong estery banana aroma. Fruity with dense, bold mouthfeel and a banana flavour that lingers on.

James Squire Four Wives Pilsener from Malt Shovel Brewery

Deep golden colour. Firmly malty, bready, dry and clean. Slightly salty and bitter finish. An excellent firm malty pilsener, which I find closer to a south German pilsener than a Czechish one.

Chestnut; aroma like glosette raisins, sugar, plums; chewy, sweet, vinous palate, sticky finish. Different - an old-style porter, lacking roast and hops.
