Reading the story on the label will probably last a beer. 6th DRG. Red berries aroma. Medium to full bodied at firts, but that waters out. Vinous flavor, like old Spätlese Rhinewine. Grapes, some rest sweetness. Just a touch of bitterness in the aftertaste.

6th DRG. Coffee aroma, like Wiener Melange. Roasted malt, red berries, grapes. Velvety texture. Thinnish, but fairly fruity.

Pours with little foam, boring yellow, smells like sweet hops with very faint guava juice notes. Flavour is soft sweet hops, faint malt notes. Rather watery. Way too weak to be interesting for anything.

Tap @ GABS Melbourne. Brown with a beige head. Aroma of dried banana, mocha, prunes, some hard spices. Sweet and ready with dried and some stewed fruit, then dries out decisively. Interesting and pretty good.

Pint on tap at Pyrmont Bridge Hotel. Another XPA, whatever that is. This one is a hazy Amber beer with a thin white foamy head. Nose is sweet, caramel and butterscotch sweet. Carbonation is high and fine. Fizzy and surprisingly light body. That caramel butterscotch thing carries right through to the end when a little hoppy fruit bitterness appears for some balance. Hard to classify, not hard to drink.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has sweet citrus and light tropical fruits with a light sweet grain backbone. Flavor has sweet grains and sweet citrus with a hint of tropical fruit backing.

Can, best before 02/05/19.
Pours a hazy orange with lots of foam, long lasting foam, and spotty lacing.
Smells light but I get some citrus, mostly lemon like, and some toasted malt.
The taste is easier to make out. Citrus with a hint of tropical fruit, earthy malt that stays away from being sweet..could be biscuit. Low low level of bitterness.
Good mouthfeel. Good Pale Ale, especially considering the low level of alcohol.
