Established in 2017, Underwood Brewery is an independent craft brewery proudly based in Kyiv, Ukraine.
We started as homebrewing enthusiasts and have grown into a prominent brewery, driven by our passion. Now we are in the Top-3 Ukrainian craft breweries.
Through the years, our passionate team has learned, evolved, and adapted, allowing us to consistently brew beers that are a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence.
In 2022 and 2023, we have successfully exported our beers to the European Union and even to Korea, establishing ourselves as a global presence.

0,33l can from Drikbeer Advent calendar, #17. Canned 14.10.25, bbe 14.10.26. Hazy golden beer with medium, quite stable head. Aroma is sugary apple and pear cider. Flavor follows. Sweet apple cider. Candies, sweet fruits (pineapple, melon, grapes). Ok, but very far from a beer.

Ein Bier, bei dem es mir schwerfiel, es auszutrinken...zum Glück sprang meine Schwiegermutter 👵 ein, die es irrsinnig toll fand.
Es ist ein Imperial Stout, welches mit Ribiseln 🫐 verfeinert wurde.
Dabei sind aber beide Aromen derartig intensiv, dass es einfach zu viel ist 🤯.
Der schwere malzige Körper schafft es leider nicht mit den intensiven Ribiselaromen zurecht zu kommen..
Wer es gerne hart mag, kanns gerne probieren, aber ich war zu schwach dafür.

Die japanische 🗾 Reis-Sonne 🌞aus Kyiv kommt recht leicht daher und der Reis 🍚 ist im Körper deutlich merkbar. Zum Glück ist der Hopfen darauf gut angepasst und man bekommt ein extra leichtes Bier, das aber nicht fad wird 🎎.

330ml slim can, sold to me by djoeye. Shared at a rating session with Finn. A bubbly off-white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass, near clear dark brownish body. Inviting smell of roasted malts, mid-dry. Earth, caramel malts, and a chocolate note to the taste character. Roasted, slightly smoked, malty finish, maybe a tad too sweet. Fine bodied. Pleasing.
