Description
Between 2011 and 2013, the adventure of the Brasseurs du Grand Paris was written on the 5th floor (no elevator) of a building in Levallois when Fabrice (a Breton who became Levalloisien) and Anthony (an American who became Parisian) met, both passionate about craft beers. Initially the Brasseurs du Grand Paris were nomadic brewers but in September 2016, we left our respective jobs and moved to St Denis to start setting up our brewery there. A 20 HL brewing room, 6 40 HL fermenters, 2 80HL fermenters, and an isobar packaging line to start our Dyonisian adventure. The first beer was brewed in St Denis in February 2017. Thus the Brasseurs du Grand Paris became the Brasserie du Grand Paris.

Keg @ Vocation & Co, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a light glow and next to no head. Think the large green and yellow supermarket peppers in taste, and there's nothing too hot here. Has a stated aroma and taste in this respect, and it works.

Tap @Luppolo Station in Rome. Black pour with a dark brownish foam. Nose: chocolate, green hazelnuts, amaretto. Mouth: this start, continuous with nocino mouthfeel (nut liquor), the finish is simple and quite irrelevant. Bummer, the nose was promising.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 10 March 2019) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of milky chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, cacao, coffee, liquorice, dark bread and a balanced cacao bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced sweet stout. Nice one.
