Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Red amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. nutty and other nice stuff. Powerfull excellent chocolate flavor. Long great finish. Smoked and other chocolate notes. Creamy palate. Wonderfull beer.

500 ml bottle, 2009 vintage, kindly procured from Systembolaget by OleR, thanks! ABV is 7.5%. Copper to mahogany coloured beer, huge beige head. Nice aroma of burnt caramel, earth and bakery. The flavour is distinctly malty with loads of caramel, baked goods and chocolate, but is not too sweet. Distinct hoppy bitterness and burnt toast in the finish. Bitter aftertaste. Unusual and earthy character, not necessarily "easy drinking", but certainly one to savour.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty chocolate and dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty dry fruity dark fruit and chocolate flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a dry roasted malty finish.

Pours dark brown with a slight haze. Head is big and creamy. Aroma is cookies and dough with notes of banana and liquorice. Flavour has a steady malty foundation with an ever growing hoppy bitterness, some smoked notes and a little bit of liquorice. A damn good Altbier!

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dark fruit, caramel, toffee, raisins and dried figs. Slightly earthy or yeasty. Malty taste with smooth notes of dried fruit, caramel, toffee, bread, toasty grain and a spicy, bittersweet finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Lovely balance with a smooth mouthfeel. Nice beer.

Bottled at the brewery. Very dark brown, small beige head. Roasty licorice aroma. Sweet and full bodiedwith clean, spritzy mouthfeel. There’s asphalt, chocolate and bread. Quite hoppy with long salty finish that holds severe bitterness. A power-alt!

Hoppy, herbal, spicy, grassy, nettle, clove, citrus, x-massy, butter, cinnamon, alcohol scent. Roasetd, watery, spicy, butter, nettle, coffee taste. Thin mouthfeel, medium bitterness.
