Plenty of barrel and chocolate. Whiskey, rum, roast malt and lots of molasses, leather. Black oily pour with initial mocha head that disappears pretty quickly. Bitter and boozy finish. Can.

Pint can from Smokes n Suds. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Light citrus aroma. Taste is mild and citrusy sweet, there is a little floral dryness in the end.

Crowler from CopenRoss. Hazy yellow pour, creamy white head. Fruity aroma, peaches, tartness. Taste comes in salty, light peaches, sweet and a bit of pucker. Leaves you licking your gums for sure.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Golden pour, light haze, thin creamy white head. Faint aroma of Malts and hops, very weak. Taste brings light sweetness, barely there citrusy notes. Very subtle, very drinkable.

Can from Smokes n Suds, November 2021. Pours pitch black with a big brown head that quickly fades to thin ring. Rich, powerful aroma of bourbon, chocolate, and roasted malts. Sweet flavor profile with what I’d consider to be the perfect amount of barrel influence. It’s prominent and center-stage, but not hot or overwhelming. Nice compliment of dark chocolate, roast, and espresso. Just a glimpse of heat on the back end. Grabbed another can Feb 2022 to revisit and confirmed - One of the best Imperial Stouts I’ve had in a long time.
