Can from Hoptimism at home. Black colour with a tan head. Roasted malty bitter and chocolate and liquorice. Vanilla seeet. Rich smooth body.

13/8/2022. Can from Craft Metropolis, Penge, split at the Cardiff GP beer share. Pours clear pale amber bronze with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of toffee, mashed banana, stewed fruits, nail varnish. Fairly heavy sweetness and low bitterness with a tart edge. Medium body, creamy/sticky, soft carbonation. Slightly odd bittersweet tang to finish. not my favourite of theirs.

440ml can from Hoppily. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, caramel, light tropical fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, liqourice bitter, coconut, chocolate, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

440ml can from Hoppily. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, big chocolate. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a rich, slightly oily, chocolate, light liqourice, sweet caramel palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.
