KYGG 310121. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is yeast, roasted malt, juniper. Flavor is juniper, yeast, roasted malt, bonfire, kveik, caramel, bread, dried fruits. OK beer.

Can. It's lightly unclear amber colored beer with a big, dense beige head. Toasted, lightly bonfire-ish aroma with rye bread, some dark dried fruits and a faint earthy note. Some woody hints too, both in aroma and flavor. It's medium bodied, semi-dry and softly carbonated, with flavors of roasted malts, rye bread and a touch of burnt down bonfire. Soft finish. Quite nice, but guess it's best with some cured meat or other food. 210131

330ml bottle, vintage 2020, brought to Tromsø from Vinmonopolet Hamar by Dag Erik, many thanks. Shared with Finn. Dense, beige head with good duration. Almost black in the glass, rings of lace. Rather restrained smell of earthy malts, roasted. Fine balanced taste character of dried fruits, dates and prunes, caramel, grain and forest. Woody. Distant notes of aquavit to a roasted ending. Fine bodied. Tasty stuff. (Tromsø 28.01.2021).

Spandert av Rune. Delt på Nerstranda. Svart. Høyt lysebrunt luftig skum som daler sakte og etterlater litt lacing. Beskjeden aroma av eik. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken karamell & akevitt. Lett tørr avslutning.
