October 2018: Shared 500 ml bottle. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Aroma of fruity hops and rather unpleasant notes of granny size urine diapers. Fairly well hopped flavour, bitter finish.

330 ml can, as Trysil Dugurd Oatmeal Stout, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.9%. Black colour, large to moderate creamy beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malts, oatmeal and toast. Soft and moderately citric mouthfeel. The flavour is fairly dry, and has notes of moderately roasted malts and mild coffee, hints of oatmeal and prunes, with a moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

Can. A big white head forms over an unclear orange colored body. The aroma is grapefruity and piney, with a gentle tropical fruityness and pale malts. It's medium to full bodied, quite dry, nicely carbonated and with a gentle bitterness. Piney, grapefruity flavor with some pale malts and a touch of grass and green grape. Medium length quite dry finish. A decent store strength beer indeed. 241226

Bottle. A hazy reddish brown beer with a small off-white head. Toffee, dark berries, candy, spices, some bread and a citrusy touch in the aroma. It's full-bodied and gently carbonated and bittered, rather dry, with with a fruity-sweet flavor. Candy, dried fruit, some fresh tropical sweet fruit and a good dash of bready, toffeeish malts. Lightly roasted and spiced. Cocoa hints. Medium length finish with some orange hints. Feels a bit messy this one, but interesting at the same time. There's something about it that I can't really pin point, but it kinda works. 241222
