Tap at Goblet ZG. 28.5.2024. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Creamy aroma, almost buttery, dank-oniony NZ hops. Lean, dry, soft, bit flat taste, somewhat citric, honeyish, herbal, without much bitterness. Pretty decent in the end, as expected from Alder, though it didn't start promising, perhaps due to age. 8/6/7/8/7.5
Can at Goblet 3.7.2025. with MattH and MarkoF. Almost clear golden body, thick, white head. Huge Riwakaish aroma NZ herbal, orange peel, citric notes, soft, light malty notes. Lean, dry taste, light apricot notes, white grape, herbal, medium bitterness. Well balanced, lovely really.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata, limpida, schiuma bianca media. Naso esplosivo, tantissimo agrume, arancia, mandarino, passionfruit. In bocca è molto equilibrata, con amaro medio e ottima secchezza. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Ottima, come sempre.

Can @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata, velata, schiuma bianca leggera, mediamente persistente. Al naso note di mango, passionfruit, frutta a polpa gialla, leggero erbaceo e citrico. In bocca ha un attacco maltato medio, abboccato, con chiusura amara media a bilanciare, secca, fresca, pulita. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Ennesima conferma per Alder.

Cask at Sindie, 5/4/24. Dark, with an ashen-tan head. Large and well-retained. Moderate lactose with plentiful roast gives lots of chocolate character. Clean. Soft, malty, good acidity, lots of dark and milk chocolate. Clean and dry, balanced. Alder seems like an awesome brewery.

Sindie draught, 4th day of May, two thousand twenty fourth year of Our Lord. Clear blonde-brass, large, well-retained, white head. Yes, that is Riwaka! Big match stick and mineral with light lemon and passion fruit. Cracker malts, clean, no resin or booze. Lemony, tropical, heavy mineral and white grape. Malty, dry, clean. Good juice. Low yeast character. It's...clear...and not a WCIPA. Amazing.
