Fra fat på Nærbøfestivalen: en fyldig og smaksrik råøl som gir meg assosiasjoner til bl.a. barndommens juleappelsin med nellikspiker. Eminent munnfylde og lang ettersmak. Et øl med originalitet og dybde.

Endelig på Nærbøfestivalen, og jeg drar i gang med denne: nesten helt klar lys gylden med ok skum. En syrligfrisk og velsmakende pilsner med noe einer i ytterkanten. Fin bitterhet, og en utmerket start for min første erfaring med denne kjekke festivalen. Hurra for arrangørene!

Unclear dark golden in the glass with a fine finger thick off white head Decent lacing. Looks nice Fine intensity in the aroma. Toffee and fruity Balanced sweetness for a beer with 9 horsepower Decent duration. Would probably expect some more Pleasant carbonation level Dangerously easy to drink Toffee, fruity, bready, herbal/grassy and some yeast in the flavor Tasty evening sipper [Can from EGO]

8-3-7-4-14 Can, #465, eleven months before bbd. Pours cloudy yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is herbal hops with light pine, floral notes and citrus, as well as pale malts with bread. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is pale malts with white bread, as well as zesty, herbal hops with citrusy notes. Semi dry finish. Nice and quaffable.

Taste is slightly dry sour-ish floral, sour grass, hay, leafs, weeds, minerals, paper, juniper, yeast, wash cloth. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh sour-ish grassy mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.
