330 ml bottle, as Skudenes Dørk Chocolate Milk Stout, a Christmas gift (bought at Vinmonopolet Karmøy - Kopervik). ABV is 8%. Black colour, moderate to small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose and lightly roasted malts, hints of vanilla. Moderate carbonation, soft mouthfeel. Smooth flavour with notes of medium roast malts, chocolate and mild coffee.

330ml can from Gulating Advent Calendar #15. Lasting white head leaving scattered lacing on the glass, a wheat haze to a golden body. Well spiced fruity aromas. Balanced taste character of coriander, orange and mild banana sweetness. Mid-sweet fruity ending. Fits the style quite well. (Tromsø 15.12.2020).

Fra luke 14 i min nå dobbeltbunnede (og stadig like hemmelige!) julekalender, en 0,33 boks fra bryggeriet over fjorden: helt uklar korngul med fint skum som varer. Behagelig aroma og overbevisende smak med søte appelsiner, koriander, peppermynte og litt banan. Lactosen er heldigvis brukt med nennsom hånd. En deilig Hefeweisen med mye smak, lav bitterhet og høy ff (forfriskningsfaktor). Boksen var naturligvis fra julenissens verksted i Straensenteret.

Aroma of roast malts, mild coffee and chocolate / cocoa, a hint of blackberries. Moderate carbonation. The flavour is slightly on the dry side, with the same elements as the aroma.

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Sola. ABV is 5.8%. Moderately hazy golden colour, large white head. Distinct hoppy aroma of citrus, tropical fruits and spruce. Citric flavour with a hint of saltwater, also notes of tropical fruits, with a fairly distinct piney / resinous bitterness in the finish.
