Description
Tbilisi is old, but it has almost everything you could ever ask for.
Georgian food is delicious, georgian wine is world famous, georgian strong drinks are strong as hell. But what did we miss here in Tbilisi? Yes, fine craft beers.
Not anymore.
We are “Number 8” - craft brewery located in Tbilisi, Georgia. We're tired of same old lagers with similar taste – so we brew our special beers for those who appreciate honesty, quality and original taste. For those who rather unique. For those who refuse to be just a brick in the wall.

Draft @ Number 8 Beer Club.

Tap at Black Dog Bar, Tbilisi. Dark amber-orange colour, small white head. Light fruity, grainy nose with some sugars. Light-bodied. Sugary fruityness, apricot, pale maltyness. A bit too sweet (unfermented sugars?) but one of three without sourness.

Tap at MacLaren’s Pub, Tbilisi. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Tart, a bit fruity nose. Light-bodied. Flavour is also tartish with some fruits. Unclean. Not much of American but reminds me about some Belgian blondes.

Tap at MacLaren Pub, Tbilisi. Not sure what is the brewery but their other beers are from Number 8. Dark golden colour, small white head. Toffeish sweet unclean nose. Medium-bodied. Toffee diacetyl in the flavour, some grass. Even in it is uncleaness not hopeless in +31C.

Hazy orange-amber colour, small steady off-white head. Light malty, fruity nose with tart vibe. Light to medium-bodied. Pale malty, English earthy hops, tartness lurking behind the corner. Easy, tolerable.

On tap at Black Dog Bar, Tbilisi. Hazy amber with a fair, off-white head. Mild malty with hopy and fruity notes, hints of peaches and grass. Moderate sweet and feels surprisingly fresh. Close to pale ale, quite enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of English Bitter Ale on 25 Jun 2017 at 21:11 - Score: 6

On tap at Black Dog Bar, Tbilisi. Hazy amber with a fair, off-white head. Rather fruity aroma, mostly tropical fruits, hints of yeast and sour berries too. Moderate sweet with quite nice fruity flavours and a pleasant bitterness. Hints of acidity too, but not much. Quite refreshing and certainly drinkable. Miles away from the local pale lagers. --- Beer merged from original tick of Flanker's APA on 25 Jun 2017 at 20:48 - Score: 6. Original review text: Aaah! Finally craft beer!

On tap at MacLaren, Tbilisi. Hazy golden with a white head. Fruity and slightly yeasty, feels almost a bit wheaty too. Moderate sweet with fairly mild fruity flavours, hints of acidity and bitterness. Not to interesting, but quite something in this part of the world. --- Beer merged from original tick of American Blonde Ale on 23 Jun 2017 at 20:29 - Score: 5
