Bottle. A clear golden beer with a two finger, dense, off-white head. Lacing. Orange zest and pine cones do most of the aroma work, some lime zest too. It’s medium bodied, smooth and a bit thin on the palate. It’s quite bitter, with citrus zest, pine cones and a light bready malty sweetness. Lasting citrus zest dominated finish. A pleasant beer indeed, perhaps a bit too straight forward. 170602

Flaske 330 fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Gylden. Litt uklar. Veldig høyt luftig skum. Litt lacing. Frukttyggegummiaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken modne plommer & aprikos. Behagelig. Lett tørr ettersmak. Litt for søt.

330ml Bottle (Thanks Cunningham) - Light amber with a foamy head. Grapefruit, orange, pineapple and some slightrly dusty notes in the aroma. Tangy, zesty, hoppy and refreshing taste with grapefruit, peach, pineapple and grapefruit detected. Enjoyable.

Hazy golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Looks good. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Semi dry ending. Citric hoppy, pine and a fine fruity flavor. Decent and tasty ipa. Very session able.

Bottle from Gulating, Brennåsen. Hazy yellow body with almost no head. Carbonation looks a bit like champagne with chains of small bubbles rising. Aroma is very light, quite distinct minerals and yeast, but also a hint of something undefined. I cannot identify the vanilla here. Flavor is quite light as well, some light lemon acidity, hint of minerals and a little hint of harsh rubber, not really unpleasant – more unusually. Quite straight forward light and refreshing, medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. I normally love vanilla, but cannot identify this here, it might be some of the rubber thing flavor, so maybe vanilla is not a good idea in a sour?
