330ml bottle, batch 38, thanks to Finn for the share. Solid fawn-coloured head leaving lacing rings down the glassware. Deep mahogany coloured body. Brown malty nose with hints of dark caramel. Nuts and roasted caramel flavours with a dried fruity twist towards the ending. Medium bodied. Well made version of the style (Tromsø 04.02.2016).

Taste of ripe citrus, bread an yeasty fruitiness. Semi-tart and sweet ending. Medium bodied. Refreshing and tasty (Tromsø 04.02.2016).

DArk golden with a white head - Hoppy aroma with citrus and some piney and herbal notes - Malt to support a citrusy, piney and herbal hop flavour - The hops goes into the finish with bitterness - This was nice

On tap at Kick. A hazy dark golden beer with a dense finger thick off-white head. Fruity nose, plum liqueur more than fresh plums, with pine cones and resins and some malty notes in the back. It’s medium to full bodied with a nice carbonation, quite dry and with a very suiting bitterness. Plum-like fruityness, citrus zest, some malty sweetness and a hint of caramel. Long fruity finish with pine cones, resins, bitterness and plum liqueur. Not a plum beer fit for a hot summer day, but it’s a fine brew anyway. 151222

On tap at Kick. A more or less black one, topped by a small, dense, dark beige head. There’s lots of delicious coffee on the nose, borderline melange or cocoa butter cream. Some dark chocolate, roasted malts and caramel sauce. Even some grains. It’s full bodied, smooth as hell and quite dry. Coffee, dark chocolate, some caramel sauce and creamy chocolate cream in the flavor. Even a nice bitterness kicking in towards the finish. Some burnt oat. Everlasting finish with coffee and dine dark chocolate and caramel sauce. I bet I’d love some high quality vanilla ice cream to go with this. 151219

On tap at Kick. A reddish dark brown beer topped by a small, dense beige head leaving curtains. Dark chocolate, some coffee and roasted malts and a nice tonka scent in the aroma. Some dried fruits. It’s roasted, bitter and chocolate flavored, with lots of delicious tonka flavor. Nice bitterness too. Pine cone hints. Full body with a faint warmth. Pleasant carbonation. Lasting roasted finish with tonka and bitterness. Finally a tonka beer from this brewery. Loving it. 151106

Bottle, at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø. A clear, amber colored beer with a small, off-white head. Lightly roasted and bready aroma with caramel and some fruity notes. It’s dry and nicely carbonated, with a pleasant bitterness. Wouldn’t mind more, but it probably wouldn’t suit the beer. Roasted malts, bread crust and caramel too, lasting for a good while. The roasted malts most evident in the finish, but as initially there’s also caramel and bread. Easy drinkable and sure a fine brew, still too malt accented for me. 151017
