Draught, small glass on a sample tray, guest brew at Grünerløkka Brygghus. Patchy surface blanketing the glass. Pale golden body, close to clear. Drying aroma of citrus tartness. Ripe acidity flavours of berries, lemon, and green apples. Refreshing drink after the food and ales at the place, otherwise not my kind of beer (Oslo 07.09.2015).

33cl bottle from Meny Bjølsen, Oslo. Pours clear mahogany coloured with a modest tanned head. Malty aroma with roasted notes, caramel, nuts and hints of dark fruits and coffee. Moderate to medium sweet with nice malty flavours and a mild, but balanced bitterness. Tasty and easy to drink, but also quite easy to forget.

33cl bottle from Meny Bjølsen, Oslo. Pours slightly hazy golden with a large, fluffy, white head. Fairly fruity aroma with floral notes, pale malt and hints of yeast, spices and butterscotch. Moderate sweet with mild flavours, a light acidity and and bitterness. Medium body with quite lively carbonation. Certainly drinkable, and fairly refreshing, but not the best one from Qvart.

On tap @ Kick. Unclear orange body with a nice, dense, lasing white head. Aroma is spicy and fruity with oranges. Flavor is medium sweet pale malt/wheat, spicy yeast, oranges and relatively bitter. Balanced body and nice aftertaste. Not really a witbier, but very refreshing, nice and balanced. Could easily go for a white IPA or a hoppy blond or something in that area, but who cares.
