Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. Aroma is herbal hops with leaves, dried flowers, yeast, grass, pale malt, peppery notes, touch of tea. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter with a fairly dry finish. Body is medium. Very different and unexpected herbal grassy hop aroma, good flavour. Nice one.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is vinous with sweet malt, caramel, oak, toffee, red wine, marzipan, and red grapes. Flavour is medium sweet with a little astringency, light tart grape. Body is medium. I like how the red wine barrel works with the caramel toffee malt.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is strong wood with caramel, toffee, dried red fruits, whiskey, raisins, more caramel and oak. Flavour is medium sweet, lightly alcohol. Body is medium, feels a bit thin for the style. Carbonation is very low. Heavy on the barrel, palate could be a bit better.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is nicely peated and smokey with chocolate, roast, whiskey, oak, and a hint of fruits. Fairly bitter flavour, sweetish, mild warming booze. Body is medium. Another very tasty BA from Berghoeve.

Bottle from Berghoeve. Aroma is vanilla, roasted malt, oak, rum, caramel, some liquorice. Flavour is medium bitter with a mild sweetness. Body is above medium. Pretty smooth with that gentle vanilla, but bitter as well from the base beer. Nice one.

Bottle from Berghoeve. Aroma is tart berries and malt with caramel and a touch of 'appelstroop'. Flavour is tart and mild to medium sour. Body is medium. Could have some more 'finesse', but it's a fine specimen of Vlaams Rood.

Bottle from Berghoeve. Aroma is chalky and roasty with dark chocolate, liquorice, roasted malt, and ash. Flavour is fairly roasty and bitter with a mild sweetness. Body is above medium. Could be more full-bodied. Nicely roasty and chalky with dark chocolate and liquorice.

Bottle from Berghoeve. Aroma is peated whisky, roasted malt, smoky notes, liquorice, notes of dried fruits. Flavour is medium sweet with a mild roasty bitterness. Some alcohol. Body is above medium. Peaty and smoky whisky but nicely balanced, pretty smooth and harmonious with just a little alcohol sharpness. Good!

Bottle from Berghoeve. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, spicy notes, some ripe fruits. Flavour is pretty sweet for a so-called Saison, with a mild bitterness in the finish. Body is medium with some hefty carbonation. Drinkable as a Belgian Ale, but not what I hope for when I hopen a bottle of Saison.

Bottle from Berghoeve. Aroma is roasted malt, bourbon, dried fruits, liquorice, dark chocolate, oak, tar, alcohol, caramel. Flavour is medium sweet with some roasty bitterness and a boozy finish. Body is medium to full. Wow, great Snorre variety. Potent Bourbon with roasty and chalky notes, bit alcoholic but I don't mind in this case.
