On tap at Askur Taproom, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is very malty, with lots of caramel malts, bready notes, and a bit of resinous hops. Flavour is also very malty, with lots of toasted caramel, bready malt and some bittering hops. Has a decent bite, but not all that much character. Solid.

33 cl bottle purchased as a single at Vínbúðin Egilsstaðir in Egilsstaðir, Iceland. Best Fybir 08.09.18 on label on bottom of bottle. The pour is a mostly clear copper golden with a big billowy light tan head. Nice splotches of lace. The aroma is a dry earthy malt and a bit of fruit and dried floral. The taste is the malt and has an edge to it, sharpness along with a bit of crystal malt as it warms, iced tea flavor lingers in dry finish. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and the malty dry finish with some fruit yeast.
