5oz pour at the brewery is a dark brown with some ringing white head.  Boozy nose, whiskey, caramel, prunes, malt.  Flavor has more, malt, caramel, milk chocolate, whiskey, lots of booze, raisins, dates.  Finishes full bodied, hot and prickly.  Booze bomb.  7 3 7 2 12

Can. Gold pour with a mostly white head. Aroma has some citrus, pine, damp woodsy soil, honey. The favor is well balanced, not too sweet or too bitter and neither is lacking.

Can from a Giant supermarket. Hazy gold in colour, with a thin, white, head. Aroma of tangerine, melon and some citrus hops. Flavour had more citrus fruit, rich tea malts, and a dryish finish. Good.

Been drinking a lot of this: cans, pints, whatever. Pint at the brewery, clear gold, cloudy white head.  Nose has malt, orange, grass, herbs, honey, flowers.  Flavor orange, grass, soap, light tea, light malt.  Real easy drinker but lots of flavor too.  8 3 8 4 15

Penn Quarter Porter (Coffee) from DC Brau Brewing Company

Nitro pour at the brewery, viscous black with some creamy, beige head.  Nose has the coffee and the malt, brown sugar, bread crusts, licorice, Folgers medium roast, some dried berry, soil.  Flavor follows, a bit sweeter withoit being cloying.  Finishes creamy, just off dry.  Well balanced.  Coffee compliments base beer, base compliments the coffee.  8 5 8 4 15

On tap at the brewery, pours a pulpy pineapple, cloudy white head.  Nose is soapy, herbal, pineapple, melon.  Flavor has herbs, melon, orange, soap.  Creamy finish.  A bit underwhelming for the style.  7 4 7 3 13

Pint at the brewery pours a clear brown with some cloudy, grey head.  Nose has malt, yeast, soggy bread.  Flavor has all the same stuff, malt, yeast, soggy bread.  Crisp and not flabby.  Above average beer in a below average style.  7 3 6 3 11

12oz can pours out hazy straw topped with a white head. Nose is grassy hops citrus and some soap. Taste is more of the grassy citrus hops and a sweet malt.
