Can. 2023 version, 12.2% ABV. Clear deep amber with a fat coat of pale beige head that fades pretty fast. Aroma of toffee, bread, figs, spices. Sweet with relieving bitterness. Vanilla fudge, brioche. Spices creep up along with the bitterness. Hints of old grapes. Not hot, but certainly warm. Good.

Can. Pale gold with a large white head. Aroma of melon, gooseberries, Meyer lemon rind. Dryish. The fruitiness obscures the lager palate - if it's there - before a decisive bitter finish.

Tap @Prince Alfred, PoO. Black with a tan head that lasts OK. Aroma of dark chocolate, some coffee and caramel. Taste is drier and roastier than that suggests with a slightly spicy bitter end. Reminds me of St Ambroise Oatmeal Stout a fair bit.

Pours amber with a large fading head.Nose shows tropical fruit, mango, papaya, lychee, citrus and peach. Also some toffee and slight butterscotch.Flavours include more tropical fruit confectionery along with caramel and the slightest butterscotch note. Finishes with a gentle bitterness.

Pours gold with a large fading head.Nose shows soft peach, nectarine and floral hops along with faint cereal notes.Flavours are more of the same, a bit of fruit and orange blossom followed by delicate cereal and hay notes.
