Quite pleasant and the best mead ive had - no question. Re-Rate. Thanks to Claus Arnsbæk. Syrupy and oily. Sweet and vinous. Lovely sipper.

Bottle shared by hopscotch. Pours a thick, syrupy light copper color with no head. Very sweet aroma of honey, rasperry and alcohol. The flavor is amazing It’s like a great desert wine. Sweet honey, light spices, tart raspberries and a touch of heat from tha alcohol. Amazing stuff. This mead rocks!

2018-03-22, corked bottle, 9 years old, 8-5-7-4-16=
Amber color, Aroma of syrup, mead, fruit, oak, old furniture, walnut oil. Medium body, medium sweetness; lean, but with complex flavor, strong alcohol feeling, a bit drier in the finish.
Excellent.

Deep blond color. It has a medium to light honey aroma, with very light lemon scent; late, there is an impression of glue. Lean body, well sweet but not syrupy, with medium honey flavor, and light citrusy sourness (very pleasant); not complex but surely well balanced; the alcohol is warming, pleasant, and this helps in the final. Good.

Beautiful bright golden. A little honey and a lot of oak in the nose. Lots of woody notes. Very rich, oaky, sweet. Balanced, refined. The most crazy legs I have ever seen on a mead.

31/10 0.75 l bottle. It poured clear amber body with quite good, oily legs. True honey is predominant in its aroma along with alcohol before some spices. Honey flavor as well, with alcohol bite being much weaker than nose would suggest. Some other flavors are felt here, like for instance fruitness of a sherry or our local wine, prosek. Thick bodied, feels rich oily/creamy in the mouth. Warming, prolonged sweet finish. So sweet, it’s dangerously drinkable, I could easily drink a bottle or two. I was not happy about my first mead, but this is a completely different thing and I really like it!
