Bottle: Pours a orange amber with no real head. Nose is fruity, hints of cider and pears. Sweet. The taste is light and sweet, fruity notes of pear and citrus. A bit of honey of course. Very smooth and clean. Thanks BuckDich for sharing this one.

Bottle. Thanks to Sk8viking. Dark red color with a white none head. Aroma is heavy honey, fruit, berries, raisins, spices and alcohol (like a sherry or port). Taste is heavy sweet with a long duration. Body is full, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. Lovely nice and complex.

Bottle, 75cl (RBNAG 07) Had it again, when I had the opportunity, to make sure it was as delicious as I found it to be at the first sample, and it sure was. A nice, dark golden to amber pour, without any bubbles on top, a lovely, sweet, honey aroma with heather and some alcohol, and a full-bodied palate with honey, heather and sugary sweetness. Just delicious. The alcohol is well hidden. I rated it a bit higher this time, at 8-4-8-4-17-4.1 but I didn’t change it due to the small difference.
Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. (Thx Rick) It pours with a cognac-look, dark amber with no head at all. Honey, alcohol and notes of fruit, flowers and barnyard in the aroma. Full-bodied, with flavors of alcohol, sugar and honey in a heavenly blend. Sweet finish. Way better than the meads available in Norway. At 16% ABV, the alcohol is very well masked. (060826)

kp’s Fest of 26. Clear, ruby- tinged amber. Still. Easily send thick legs down the glass. Vanilla, oak and alcohol play heavily on the nose. Smooth and sweet with a cinnamon tough in the flavor. Another nice one from Spóldzielnia Pszczelarska Apis.

(Bottle) Beautiful warm, reddish amber with no head whatsoever. Sweet, alcoholic nose of caramel and alcohol. Extremely full-bodied and extremely complex flavour pattern with loads of honey and fruit acents. But this is EXTREMELY sweet - actually I don’t believe I’ve ever had anything this sweet in my life. I love its complexity but am having trouble with its sugary sweetness. 260806
