Description
We are a small brewery and tasting room in Davis, California. We focus on a constantly rotating selection, keeping things fresh, brewing a little bit of everything and having fun with it all.

UC Davis alumnus and former Sudwerk employee Brennan Flemming opened Dunloe Brewing Company in the summer of 2017. The brewery is the old Pacific Bell building located at 1606 Olive drive. Dunloe does not focus on a specific style, rather there is a rotating beer list based on what Brennan feels like making. In addition to draft beer in their tasting room, they sell cans of their most popular beers.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Actually more translucent than hazy. Aroma is oh so mildly tart. Near medium body. Flavor is tart fruit - passion fruit and maybe citrus zest. Very approachable with a pleasing tartness at the end of each quaff. Nice.

Tap at the Davis Graduate. Pours slightly hazy gold with a white head. Fresh and juicy fruit aroma. Medium body. Juicy it is. Sort of melon with a little citrus and a deal of pale prunus fruits. Juicily undry and pleasingly bitter. Good, persistent flavor. Good one.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours clear brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is slightly tart melon. Near med body. Flavor is earthy, slightly tart melon - but it seems closer to watermelon in a way than to the advertised melons. Very dry. More tart than bitter, but it comes out bitter. Very different ale.

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brn/blk with a tan head. Aroma of earthy chocolate with cherry. Med body at least. Flavor is earthy chocolate, dark malt, coffee, and I'm thinking cherry. Dry. Gets more cherry with time. Not bitter. Tastes really good.

750 ml can from the taproom. Pours extremely hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is juicy with a hint of earth. Med + body. Flavor is juicy/dank citrus with a little pale stone fruit and a touch of earth. Well towards dry and fairly bitter. Juicy is the word. Great stuff.

750 ml can from the taproom. Pours light gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is bready with something suggesting spice. Or lemon grass. Near med body. Flavor is bready with some nice bitter. Not at all tropical. Rather citrus. This is close to German except for the citrus, so I'm thinking the hop is Hallertau New Zealand. Clean; refreshing.

Tap at the tasting room. Pours light copper with a white head. Citrus aroma. Medium body. Flavor is tangerine/citruswith cedar wood. Made me think of chewing a pencil in grade school. Just a bit. Am told the cedar could come from the Brett that was used! Fairly dry; touch of zest; a bit earthy. Tasty saison.
