The Old Fox concentrated on cask beer and saw the revolution of small breweries breaking the stranglehold of the multinationals on the drinks industry.
Beer Street and The Wobbly Duck followed the rise of craft beer and the explosion in consumer choice whether it was brewery, style or flavour.

26/11/2019. Cask, sample, courtesy of danlo cheers Ed! Pours murky dull orange gold with no head. Aroma of citrus, pomegranate, touch of banana, wheat malt, yeast, biscuit and light herb. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Punchy earthy bitter kick gives way to a nice mellow sweet end. Grower.

Cask at Darlington Snooker Club Beer Festival November 2019. Murky yellow gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of grain, citrus. Taste is grainy, wheaty, with zesty citrus hop, some biscuity notes and tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry zesty finish. Quite drinkable.
