500ml can from Bert's. Murky golden pour, lasting cap of tight, white head. Light citrusy aroma, oranges and tangerines. Taste is more mellow citrus notes carried by some soft, bready malts. Light, but full.

On tap at Ascendant, pours black with a small tan head. Nose reveals lactose upfront, with moderate toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with sweet lactose, medium toasted malt, and just a hint of bitterness. Smooth and creamy, but not the most elegant beer. Competent and easy-drinking. Solid.

On tap at Ascendant, pours an opaque, filthy amber-tinged brown of some sorts with a small beige head - looks pretty nasty. Aroma brings out muffled, earthy hops, with lots of cloudy yeast, and pithy stone fruits. Flavour is malt and yeasty, with earthy hops, caramel malt, and filthy yeast. Earthy and clouded. This needs some work.
