33cl bottle from Coop Prix, Mo i Rana. Pours almost completely clear dark amber with a modest, off-white head. Malty and caramelly with mild bready notes, hints of dried fruits and hops. Medium to moderate sweet with medium to low flavour intensity and a surprisingly pleasant bitterness. Not as sweet as expected and quite pleasant and easy to drink. Carbonation seems a bit lively, but nothing disturbing.

YG 101023. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is licorice, roasted malt, dried fruit, bread. Flavor is licorice, roasted malt, molasses, alcohol, dried fruit, chocolate, bread,coffee. Nice beer.

Bottle. It pours an almost black body under a minimalistic beige head. Roasted malts, molasses, some alcohol, dark dried fruit, hints of licorice and some dark chocolate and bread crust in the aroma. Soy sauce. It's full bodied and quite chewy on the palate, semi-sweet, with a touch of alcohol. Bread crust, dark dried fruit, licorice and soy sauce, some caramel and a touch of coffee and cocoa in the flavor. Sort of nutty too. Long finish. A quite complex beer, tasteful too in a way, but it lacks a bit on balance I think. 231010

Bottle@PBF XIII (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is oil, some grains, mild yeasty tones, roast and herbs. Flavour is roasted malts, grains, ashy tones. Very ashy finish.
