Forholdsvis pålitelige notater fra Jæren Ølfestival 2021: nesten helt klar strågylden med fint skum som varer. Tropiske frukter, furunål og gressløk. Tørr avslutning. 0,33 bokser fra Gulating Trondheim.

Can. It pours a mostly clear body under a small white head. Some lacing. The aroma is citrusy and grapefruity, with pine cones, resin and a touch of pale malts. It’s quite dry on the palate, pleasantly carbonated and soft on the palate, with a good bitterness. Pine cones, grapefruit, resin and a touch of pale malts. Long dry and bitter finish. A bit harsh this one, else fine. 210813

330ml can, #052, from Gulating advent calendar, 2020, #2. Cloudy, coal black in the glass, slowly diminishing beige head, scattered lacing. Moderate smell of cocoa sweetness. Taste of cold chocolate added by cocoa, vanilla sweetness beneath. Grainy chocolate ending. Flat in the mouth. Rather unvaried. Mediocre. (Tromsø 02.12.2020).

Can. A dark brown to black beer wtih a decent beige head. Rather artificial aroma with vanilla, chocolate, some coffee and bread and a good dash of sweet biscuits. It's medium to thin-bodied, smooth and quite sweet on the palate, with an artificial vanilla and lactose feeling. Sweet biscuits, chocolate and some hazelnut, with a backdrop of bready malts. Too artificial and thin this one. 201122

330ml can from Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Shared with Finn. Scattered lacing from a decent white head, hazy yellow-gold body. Passion fruity nose, subdued and dry. Plain taste of tart passion fruits and mandarin. Prolonged ending. Some cleanser qualities. (Tromsø 19.11.2020).
