From a 440ml can on 20/10/2024. Pours cloudy medium golden with a medium to biggish foamy head. Has a pleasant strong ripe tropical fruit nose. Tastes of pineapple, passionfruit, melon, orange peach and lychee, finishing with a sharp tangy bitterness. Has a silky mouthfeel and average carbonation. Very nice indeed.

From a 440ml can on19/9/2024 (ABV listed as 9.0% rather than 9.1%). Pours like orange juice with a big sudsy head that disappears very quickly. Has a strong mango nose. Tastes medium sweet, with lots of mango and a hint of vanilla, with a firm tangy, lightly sour finish. The palate is slick with modest carbonation. Doesn't present as a nine per center. Easy drinking and nice enough, but wouldn't revisit.

Tap. Very pale misted yellow, white head. Motueka wins the hop battle with cooked lime, grass, under-ripe tropical fruit. Pepper keeps it a bit pilsner-like. But all the fruit muddles the palate a bit (in a way that better NZ-styled pilsners avoid) and the lowish bitterness confuses things more. But it is tasty.

From a 440ml can on 21/8/2024. Pours a milky light golden with a medium head. Has a lovely strong tropical punch nose. Tastes of mango, passionfruit, lychee, orange and melon, finishing with a light but firm, spicy, tangy, lingering bitterness. Has a silky mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. This one is simply sublime - long, nuanced, complex, cohesive and utterly delicious. An amazing beer.

Tastes of both milk and dark chocolate, cocoa and vanilla -medium to high sweetness with a moderate roasty bitterness at the back. Has a lightly creamy palate and moderate carbonation. A really solid pastry number.

A cracking, quite bold and complex little OC.

Tastes of passionfruit, lychee, pear and melon, finishing with a modest tangy bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. A cohesive, nuanced, impressive brew.
