Bottle: Golden, clear, small & stable white foamy layer, sweetish cornfield-like nose, no hops "visible"; soft, light to medium bodied, light to moderate sweet flavour, bitterness very well hidden; short grainy-sweetish finish with a very delicate bitterness. Clean, but absolutely not a Pilsener! Or did I grab a wrongly labelled bottle......

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a beige and dense medium-sized foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly toasty malty aroma with nutty notes and a tinge of cacao. Slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Mildly toasty and nutty malty aroma with shades of caramel and chocolate, also slightly papery hints towards the sweet and slightly toasty bitter finish. Ordinary Dunkel, not to be confused with a Schwarzbier. 26.VIII.11

(bottle, as Röhrl Pils, 4.9% abv) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and dense mid-sized foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly strawy malty aroma with herbal and slightly grassy hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Pale malt-character with present hoppy notes from the middle part; drying out towards the bitter-sweet finish with traces of slightly papery malt in the aftertaste. 17.VIII.11

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden beer with a small, off-white head. Pale malts and fruits on the nose, some grassy hops. Dry, medium body. The flavor has pale malts, some fruityness and bitterness and a touch of lemon. Dry, bitter finish. Not super exiting, but tasteful and quenching. 110129
