getrunken vom Fass vor Ort im Bräuhaus im Zentrum in Straubing neben dem Weihnachtsmarkt. Ein typisch bayrisches Weizenbier mit schön milden Noten und einem vollen Körper und hefig-getreidigen Körper mit weniger Fruchtigkeit, dafür aber sehr süffig. Feiner Klassiker

Das „Naturtrüb“ ist das helle Straubinger Weizen. Erinnert mich etwas an die Turm Weisse von Kuchlbauer. Ausgewogenes Verhältnis zwischen Weichheit und Spritzigkeit, Süffigkeit und Substanz. Leicht alkoholige Note. Wie die Original Straubinger Weisse ein feines, charaktervolles Bier, mit tollem Mundgefühl. Straubinger Weisse die schmeckt. Ja, mia ham’s lang scho entdeckt.“, so sang es früher aus dem Radio. Entdeckt habe ich es aber jetzt erst.

Hazy golden colour, white foam. Nose of banana, wheat, citrus. Taste is sweet banana along with some tart wheat notes. Refreshing and easy drinkable.

Bottle at THT. Hazy golden with white head. Dough, cloves, cardboard, quite bready, grassy too. There’s surprisingly low banana here, so a bit more bready than average weisse. Almost medium sweet, light bitter and medium bodied.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig, leicht bananig, etwas würzig.
