Pours clear pink. Smells of artificial seeming berries and sugar. It tastes very sugary with apples and berry candy. Very bubbly. Light body. There is just way too much sugar. There are enough overly sugary ciders around without sending more all the way from Sweden.

Reminds me of an RBer who I attended some tastings with who would muse about the carbon footprint of sending some terrible pale lager we were tasting halfway around the world, especially when we already had so many terrible pale lagers made closer to home. A really good beer could be justified, but a bad one? Ugh!

So there we have it. This cider isn’t worth the carbon footprint to get it here.

Halmgul och klar vätska med finbubbligt vitt skum. Försvinnande låga aromer av ljust bröd och ljus deg. Kladdig maltighet och insmickrande avsaknad av beska. Generisk fåtöljhinkningsfavorit för den som gillar det.

(Draught at Bull & Bear, Stockholm, 26 Oct 2024) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, crisp-bread, citrus and pine needles. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, crisp-bread, orange peel, pine needles and a gentle piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Refreshing, but feels like a macro brewer pretending to be craft (which essentially is what it is). Quite enjoyable.

Gyllegul vätska med flödigt skum. Arom av bröd och lite karamell. Neutral ren beska avslutar det hela.
