Description
Ontstaan als een samenvoegsel van de tweebroers, Crispinus en Crispianus, eervolle schoenmakers die als twee heilige martelaren bekend staan. Sinds 2013 staat Sint Crispijn ook voor ambachtelijk bier uit Waalwijk. Herkenbaar aan het logo met de 2 gezichten, de twee broers samengevoegd in een hedendaags beeld. Op deze manier komen oude ambachten, historie en kwaliteit samen in een eerlijk gebrouwen product.

De (bovengistende) bieren van Sint Crispijn worden uitsluiten met 100% natuurlijke producten en eerlijke passie gebrouwen. De bieren worden niet gefilterd en zijn ongepasteuriseerd wat resulteert in een volle rijke smaak.

Brouwerij Sint Crispijn is sinds 2013 de stadsbrouwerij van Waalwijk opgericht door Gillian en Annemieke. Tot 2018 brouwerijhuurder. Anno 2018 heeft de brouwerij het oude graanpakhuis op het voormalige ISCO-terrein omgetoverd tot brouwerij met een hip proeflokaal. De bieren worden sindsdien dus in eigen ketels gebrouwen! In 2024 wordt bekend dat de brouwerij verder gaat als brouwerijhuurder.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of honey and lemon sourness. Taste is spice and lemon. Finishes thin. OK.

bottle at home ... golden yellow .. thin white lacing ... soft sweet fruity ..juicy lemon fruit nose ... big sherbert lemon fuits .. soft salty and zezty

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty flavor with weak hints of citrus. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty finish.

Bottle 330ml @ fonefan
Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, orange, candy and some tropical fruits. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, fruits, yeast, malt and hops.

Bottle, 6.8%. Hazy dark yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast, hop and spices. Flavour is malt, fruit, yeast, spices, phenols, little sweet and medium bitter.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry, herbal, light fruity. Bitter, trapefruity and light peachy. Greasy hoppy. Dry and bitter into the finish.
