200ml as Sommerpils 04, 6.3 %, abv, draught at the brewhouse. Good looking in the glass with a clear golden-brown body, remaining pearl white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Moderate malt-fruity smell, hints of herbal hops and grainy malts. Fine mixed of herbal hops, bite of stewed fruits and bread-like malts to the taste buds. Rounded malt-fruity ending. Well bodied, still easy to drink. Likable. (Bodø 25.06.2020).

On tap at the brewpub. The colour is matt orange brown with a big light beige head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, grass and caramel. Flavour of pine, grapefruit, grass, dried apricot and caramel. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium level bitterness. Well balanced and solid.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy straw colour with an off-white head. Sweet aroma of wet hay, grass, spicy hops, grains, sweet corn and some lemon. The flavour starts with pale malt, hay, sweet corn then some alcohol before it ends a little dry with grass and hops. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and medium bitterness. A little unbalanced overall but has nice malty and hop notes.

On tap at the brewpub. Has a dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma of dates, leather, phenols, birch and bread. Flavour of phenols, alcohol, dates, birch, leather and licorice. Has a slick mouth feel, medium to full body, and a light bitterness. Rich and tasteful. Would benefit more aging. Could be a nice ale to food.

On tap at Hundholmen, Bod�. Has a hazy orange colour with a big off-white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, hay, cloves, grass, lime and some chlorine and sulfur. Flavour of grass, hay, pale malt, Belgian yeast and some alcohol. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. Malty and fairly bitter. Fruity but is unbalanced with obviously high ABV.

On tap at Hundholmen, Bod�. Pours a slightly hazy orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, hay, peaches, lime, grass and cloves. Flavour of peaches, alcohol, grass and hay in a strange bitter ending. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. Fruity and nice aroma. Unbalanced flavour and is quite bitter.

200ml as Saison 04, 7.9 % abv, on tap at Hundholmen Brygghus. Filmy white head, spotty lacing, hazy dark golden body. Moderate aroma of orange and saison fruits, mid-dry. Saison fruity flavours blended with citrus and yeast. Mid-sweet fruity finish. Soft in the mouth. Refreshing and mouthfilling. Pretty good. (Bodø 27.11.2019).

200ml on tap at Hundholmen Brygghus. Deep dark ruby body, patches on the surface, dotted spots on the glassware. Inviting Yuletide smell of spices, liquorice and dark fruits. Well blended taste profile of moderate star anise, caramel, Yuletide spices, dark berry-fruits, and smooth chocolate notes towards a lingering aftertaste. Good drinking. (Bodø 27.11.2019).

330ml draught at the brewpub. Shared with Liv. A firm fawn-coloured head to a near black body with a brownish shade. Solid lacing on the glass. Promising smell of semi-sweet malts with notes of dried fruits. Malt-dried fruity taste profile, impacts of raisin and prunes, backed by a distant touch of spruce. Ends warming and mid-sweet. Fine depth. Yuletide feel. (Bodø 07.12.2018).

Svart. Lavt skum med litt farge. Lakrisaroma. Smaken melkesjokolade. Kakao i ettersmaken. Avslutter veldig tørt. (29.9.19).
