200ml at the brewpub. A covering beige head leaving clingy lacing on the glass. Jet black body. Promising smell of liquorice and pine. Dark dough malty flavours, moments of liquorice, sooth and pine needles towards the ending. Fine depth and smooth on the swallow. Likable. (Bodø 04.10.2019).

400ml draught, 8 % abv, at the brewhouse. A creamy fawn-coloured head slowly reduced to a patchy layer, clingy lacing down the glass. Black body with a deep rustic shade. Smoothly roasted malty nose with some dark spices to it. Rich taste profile of dark chocolate malts with an impact of liquorice, lightly spiced. Roasted malt bittersweet finish. Rounded mouth feel. Well bodied still surprisingly easy to drink. Burger friendly. Well crafted this one. (Bodø 20.05.2017).

200ml on tap at Hundholmen Brygghus. Next to clear yellow-golden body, patchy layer, upper part lacing on the glass. Moderate aromas of bread-like malts, mid-sweet. Malt-driven taste of grain, earth, and nuts. Mid-sweet malty ending with distant noble hops. Well bodied. Quite alright. (Bodø 04.10.2019).

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber colour with a light beige head. Aroma of apricot, grains and grass. Flavour of caramel, bread, apricots, grass, hops and some alcohol. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Malty and has a little unbalanced flavour.

400ml draught as Bayer 02, 7.9 % abv, at the brewhouse. Clear rosewood coloured body with a deep rustic shade. Filmy layer, spotty lacing. Restrained smell of slightly roasted malts, hints of bread, mid-sweet. Smooth taste of bread, toffee and a distant backdrop of marmalade. Roasted, mid-sweet finish. Well bodied. Pleasing taste. On tap at the brewpub. The colour is hazy dark orange with a light beige head. Aroma of bread, plastic bag, smoke, leather, red berries and some caramel. Flavour of bread, leather, diesel, grass and some plastic bag. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light to medium bitterness. Malty but off-flavours disturbes the experience.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy orange colour with a white head. Spicy aroma with cloves, hay and lime. Lots of cloves in the flavour along with soap, flowers, chlorine and grass. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium body and light bitterness. Spicy and decent, but with some off-flavours.

200ml on tap at the brewpub in Bodø. A wheat haze to a grey-golden body. Stable white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass. Moderate smell of grainy fruits, lightly spiced. Mixed taste of mid-dry fruits and coriander. Rounded ending with a nice touch of citrus shells. Well bodied. Decent version of the style. (In friendly company with Unn, Tor and Frau Eva 01.03.2019).

Rather dry flavour profile of almond, caramel, herbs, and underlying spruce. Bittersweet ending, long-lived. Fine depth. Good drinking. (28.02.2019).
