Description
COAST Brewing Company is a family owned craft brewery, on an old Navy base. We make beer we like to drink, simple and done well. We believe in choice organic and local ingredients. But it's not just about being organic, it's a certain mind set of considering the environment in everything we do. In fact, we're not certified organic and have no plans to be-we do it because we believe it's the right thing. All of our ingredients are listed including which are organic. Welcome and thanks for your continued support!

16oz pint at this Biergarten places in Charleston. Pours a lightly hazy orange with some white head. That’s about where things go wrong... nose is rough, harsh hop, soggy malts, yeast, celery, ranch dressing. Flavor follows, lots of celery, white pepper and coriander, soggy moldy bread. Harsh finish. This one beer nearly ruined my night.

Rich copper coloured body with a touch of an amber glow and a thinnish tan head. Aroma of earthy and slightly nutty hops with a bit of a grapefruit note, but relatively deep and pungent. Medium-bodied; Earthy hop notes with a decent amount of nutty flavours and some subdued bitterness from the hops with only a touch of sugars. Aftertaste shows some bitterness, but a nutty and relatively earthy flavour at the end. Overall, a decent IPA with more of a nutty and earthy bite and not much complexity, especially compared to west-coast versions. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Southern Seasons in Charleston, South Carolina on 21-August-2014 for US$8,99 sampled at home in Washington on Christmas Day, 25-December-2014. This one was bottled on 31-July-2014. Bottled: 31-July-2014 // Purchased: 21-August-2014 // Sampled: 25-December-2014
