Description
Beer House opened its doors in July 2002 and is the only and unique restaurant-brewery in Estonia, which produces 7 sorts of “living” non-filtered and unpasteurised beer. The restaurant’s interior is created in the style of Austrian beer houses. The restaurant´s Beer Square embraces you with the atmosphere of the Vienna streets and in summer time here is opened the longest terrace in the Old Town.

The recipes of the beer brewed in Beer House are originating from Bavarian breweries of the XVI century. The brewing technology of unique premium class beer is under the close supervision of the brew masters team, headed by our master brewer Eve Toomela, who is qualified by the most famous Austrian brew masters. For the production of the best „living“ beer we are using only the high quality raw materials: malt we bring from Austria, yeast and hops from Germany..

Draught in Beer House, Tallinn-Appealing malty aroma with honey. Amber, dark golden in colour with a pleasant honey taste, light hoppiness and a hint of banana. Fairly enjoyable and I wish they were as adventurous as this with all of the beers they brew.

Draught in Beer House, Tallinn- Dark brown, almost black in colour. Not much of an aroma but a suggestion of coffee. Hints of chocolate and coffee in the taste, light hoppiness and coffee becoming more evident after a few sips. Not bad but not great either.

Rating #3700.
Dark amber color, creamy beige head. Lemony aroma with notes of brewing mash. Medium-bodied. Sweet, sugary, not purely honey-like sweetness. Some harsh flavors in the finish - some malts and grassy hops. Not really "honey beer".

Copper brown color, creamy beige head. Caramelly malty aroma. Toffeish sweet - but not diacetylic - but sugary - flavor, some hops in the finish and aftertaste. Slightly alcoholic. Interesting and propably the best of Beer House beers.

Golden honey color, decent white head. Liek all BH’s beers, aroma has brewing mash and rye bread, this one has also some citric notes. As name indicates, this is close to standard German Helles-type beer: light in palate, malty background with lemony hops. So this brew is ok if you want a harmless beer for thirst.

Dark amber color, cloudy off-white head. Aroma of brewing mash and rye bread with honeyish notes. Sticky mouthfeel. Medium-bodied. Leaves your mouth dry, some woody hops and light spices (cardamom). Not a bad brew, but doesn’t right hit the spot. Kind of märzen-style.

Draught @Beer House
Hazy yellow with small creamy white head. Aroma of hops and lemon dish cleanser. Soft, medium-bodied palate. Quite softly hoppied for the style, but ok with a food.
