27/9/2018. Cask at the St.Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2018. Pours slight hazy amber colour with a small bubbly just off-white head. Aroma of citrus, jammy fruits, flowers, malt and sugars. Quite heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, very soft carbonation. Not especially keen on this one.

Gravicask, 5.2 % abv, shared with Finn at Plymouth Camra Beer and Cider festival. Deep black body. Naked surface, dotted spots on the glass. Mild dark malty aroma with a touch of liquorice. Slightly roasted malty flavours, some impact of forest, wood and liquorice. Medium bodied. Pretty alright (23.09.2016).

Cask-conditioned at the Green Man, Bristol 26/09/10. Dark brown, with hints of red and a slight, tan head. Aroma of bitter chocolate and dark fruits with a touch of roastiness. Easy drinking, chocolate flavour with more roasted malts and a dryish finish. Good stuff.
