(Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden with a small, white head. Soft, malty nose. Medium body with sweetish malt and only a short, light bitter finish. According to the label this should be a Dortmunder style, but it definitely lacks body to fulfill that claim. 281205

A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, and so is the flavor too, while the body is thin.

Can. Bought in Germany as Karjala Export. Golden beer with large but quickly disappearing head. Hints of malt in aroma and flavor. Some sweetness to accomplilsh the mild bitterness in the finish. Ok palate. (051209)

Test vom 16.11.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,9,11,11,12,11 - 10,95

Bottled. Dark copperish/amber colour, with mediumsized foamy beigeish brown head. Aroma of caramel, rye, chocolate and alcohol. At first not much flavour, but then a huge peak of sweet caramellish malt with some hints of chocolate, and hops in finish. Ok brew, though I think I would choose the III version if I bought more of this.

Bottled. Dark amber colour with big white sparkling bubbly head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malts, with some very sweet sting (almost alcoholish stingy) in it also. Flavour is very pleasant of sweet malts, caramel and weak hops in finish. Very different from standard Lapin Kulta, I look forward to the IVB version of this...

Bottled. Pale golden, with small white head. Vegetables in aroma, along with the typical lagerish one. Flavur is weak rye. Not a winner, but then again a beer I could have again, if I wanted to have something easy to drink...
