Irregular, dense, creamy crème-coloured head, over very dark brown beer with ruby sparkling. WOW! The smell of black cardemom (baadi elaachi), one of the smells I love most in beer, dark malts, felt or "loden" clothes, a touch meaty. Woody, oak, leafy flavours with alcohol peeping out of the wood. Sweetness, soft bitterness and wood in perfect balance. Gotta love it. Some hops, some liquorice and lots of smokey strong tea. Very well-bodied, not chewy. Aftertaste as dark, soft-sweet chocolate. I’m deeply impressed. However brought this: Björn, Anders, Jacob, big thanks. This is - Imperial. Ideal for N°1600.

Very dark red-brown; yellowish head, very fast gone. Rich fruity nose, orangepeel, vinous, brown candy sugar. Woody taste, liquorice, vinous, sweet. There’s quite some caramel in this sweetness. After some time, spices enter: again, I guess, orangepeel, as well as a very earthy flavour. Well bodied, less attenuated than most doubles. A bit sweet, really, very much in the Scandinavian Jul-Ol pattern. These Vikings love their glögg too much.

Blond color. Very simple aroma, with a light vanilla touch, a bit floreal. Some cereals in the taste, starts dry, shows some residual sweetness later, becomes very bitter at the end, for a strong final. Raw.
