Golden coloured with generous head. Grassy, flowery hop aroma. Medium bodied, rather sweet. Bready and clean with above average bitterness. Good, and the current batch ha the oily saaz hop aroma of the better genuinely Czechish pilseners, which were öackinh earlier.

Very transparent. A cidery sour aroma one wouldn't expect from this style (rerate: slight veggie as well). Tastenotes of sour apples, clementines and with a light malty (sligthly papery) body. Thinnish, flatish.

Completely black. Burned aroma with some phenol. A medium body that matches the chocolate flavor and the long burned aftertaste.

Very lifht and clear color. Slight sour aroma and a taste of flowers and spice with a hint of phenol. Definetly a interesting beer - it does not taste like any modern german wheat i have encountered.

Reddish amber - at least it looks nice. Big, bad phenols disrupt any sense of maltiness this beer was trying to develop.

Ditto the least favourite comment. Amber, metallic, caramelly - not much going on here at all. What's with all the England-bashing?

Potent alcohol hits hard in the aroma; warming blast in the palate, too. Malty, with the same flowery component as regular Kloster, but IMO the alcohol and increased yeastiness get in the way.

Sampling of the 1999 version in March 2002: Dark amber in colour. Nicele hop aroma, alongside an estery banana aroma. Dry, beautifully balance and full bodied. bitter finish. This was a good beer to start with, and has after three years in my cellar turned into something really outstanding.

Amber/brown colour, the head diminishes quickly. Fruity, spicy aroma. The flavour is an overhelming mixture of various spices, way too may spices. Dry finish.

Amber coloured, hazy. Dryish, light bodied, bitter, complex. Much more flavourful and balanced than the regular London.
