Malty taste with dark fruit, caramel and citrussy hops in the finish. Very nice balance. It’s got a very english feel to it. Good beer!

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Lightly hazy amber colour, small airy head. Rixh aroma of hay and orange. The English hops dominate the beer throughout. It’äs fairly light bodied with criso, delicate mouthfeel and notes of caramel. Finsihes with balanced, yet marked ´bitterness. Fresh, relaxed and fairly hoppy as befits a Skebo brew. They make really good beers, and when I think about it this is the type of brewer I want to populate the countryside. I would however find it difficult to separate the varous beers Skebo has made in a blind test, as they are not that difficult from another.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Hazy amber, rocky head. Aroma of hay, sweat and flowers. Dry and medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Hoppy, in the British way, yet a laid back and sociable strong bitter. The crisp pilsnerish mouthfeel distinguishes it from other Skebo beers. Finishes with herbal salty bitterness. Good!

(Draught at MacKinlay’s Inn, Stockholm, 26 Jan 2008) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, citrussy nose with orange peel and mandarin and a hint of Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit. Fruity, floral taste with citrus, orange and a nice citrussy, slightly soapy, finish. Balanced and tasty with a lovely hop character.
